[nggallery id=8]Huddlebuy, the UK’s largest daily deals and benefits service providers launched in 2011 to give start-ups, freelancers and entrepreneurs the chance to grab savings on products and services at a reduced cost that only larger businesses could afford.
As lead copywriter, I developed the Huddlebuy brand’s tone and voice, wrote direct response copy for the daily product and service deals that got visitors smiling, signing up and buying along with writing promotional copy and designing graphics for social media, message boards, email marketing campaigns and the company blog.
I also researched and built up partnerships with suppliers for more deals given to the Huddlebuy community of business owners, organised and managed promotional activities at exhibitions including the Business Startup Show and Business 2012, in addition to training up interns in copywriting techniques, use of CMS, proofreading their work and making sure everything was spick and span before going live.
